The on-site restaurant serves fantastic meals, like chicken schnitzel and spicy shrimp and chorizo pasta.
The shared bathroom situation could use an upgrade, with only one shower and toilet available for all guests, which can definitely feel cramped. The kitchen also left something to be desired-tiny with limited equipment and often out of order appliances. I found the water in the bathroom drained slowly due to a clogged pipe. And don't even get me started on the lack of a kettle in the room-sometimes you just want a quiet cuppa in the morning without the trek to the kitchen.

Great-sized room, all in all had comfortable stay.
Thanks, I loved my stay. Everything was very good, fairly clean hotel, particularly good location in a beautiful setting. I was there for 1 night and ate at in-house restaurant with beautiful food and friendly staff. The personnel was incredibly nice and outstandingly accommodating. The food for breakfast was delicious and decent...

We were just passing through but there was plenty of space to spread out, the apartment being on two levels with two bathrooms for just for of us.
Very limited kitchen utensils yet a modern kitchen.

Very nice and clean rooms, value for money. Only one disadvantage: no breakfast served, and the small city has only one good restaurant where breakfast is served and this at 10 o'clock, a bit late.

Location and room setup
. Couldn't find light switch when arrived in the dark. Room too cold when arrived in middle of winter would have liked extra blanket

Good to have the option to stay somewhere not too far out from Greymouth. Beautiful setting ( of course the good weather helped). Nice quiet village with all the essential facilities.

It was a very peaceful and idyllic location with pleasant surroundings and a gorgeous view.
We had great difficulty in accessing where the office was located as there were no signs directing you to 'an office'. The unit we were in would have been made more comfortable with a couple of armchairs.

The two-bedroom unit had unobstructed views of the lake with sliding doors opening onto a cute verandah, perfect for enjoying the breeze.
The motel unit, while charming, could benefit from more shelves in the bathroom for organization, and the shower head being fixed limits flexibility during use.

The room was tidy and had a mint view, but the bar noise was a bit much for a good night's sleep. Chur for the comfy beds!
